Booz Allen Hamilton contracted at APG

Booz Allen Hamilton has been selected to support the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command to provide services to the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives Mission for the Edgewood Chemical Biological Center, headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
Throughout the five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quality (ID/IQ) contract, valued at $485 million for all awardees, Booz Allen Hamilton will provide research, development, acquisition, project management and sustainment support services to ECBC and other related organizations. Booz Allen Hamilton’s services will support the nation’s front-line leaders in defense against CBRNE materials, including: U.S. Army Medical Research Institute for Chemical Defense, Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense, U.S. Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine, U.S. Army Chemical Materials Agency, Program Manager Assembled Chemical Weapons Activity, U.S. Army 20th Support Command, and the Department of Homeland Security.
As the nation’s principal research and development center for chemical and biological warfare defense, ECBC develops technology in the areas of detection, protection and decontamination for defense solutions against harmful agents. ECBC provides support from the beginning stages of research through the development and deployment of cutting-edge defense technology.
Booz Allen Hamilton’s Aberdeen office in Water’s Edge Corporate Center in Belcamp provides critical expertise to the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Federal Aviation Administration in missions that include homeland defense, advancing chemical and biological defense technology, chemical demilitarization and environmental stewardship and remediation.
