Investigators with the Harford County Sheriff's Office are looking into several recent thefts, including one from the Fallston Recreation Council construction site.

Between Jan. 16 and 18, someone broke into a building under construction in the 1800 block of Fallston Road. The building is part of the Fallston Recreation Council construction site.

The burglar stole electrical boxes, 25 and 45 amp industrial circuit breakers, 16 rolls of copper wiring, telephone and cable wiring, copper jumpers and copper electrical feeds, according to a flyer from the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

The stolen items were worth more than $5,000 and more than $10,000 in damage was done to the building during the break in, according to Monica Worrell, public information specialist with the Sheriff's Office.

Anyone with information about the burglary and theft is asked to contact the Harford County Crime Solvers tipline, 1-888-540-TIPS(8477). Those using the tipline may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Abingdon credit card theft

On Dec. 31, four people allegedly stole and used a credit card, according to an investigative release from the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

The four people, three women and one man, tried to use the credit card at the Abingdon Walmart, but when the transaction was declined, they allegedly stole merchandise and left, according to the release.

They were driving a light, four-door sedan, possibly a Ford Taurus.
